We are a family of four girls, ranging in age from 12 to 9 years old. (12, 10, 9 and 9). Our eldest daughter babysits, volunteers at the local church, does cheerleading, girls on the run and basically is the 7 grade peer counseler. Our 10 year old is our shy child so she pretty much keeps to herself. Our two 9 year olds are not twins but are "step sister". One of them is the quit shy artist and the other who has a higher IQ then most children her age likes to keep her nose in a book or likes to be crunching college math numbers (not kidding). Each of our girls are unique in there own way, so a typical day in our life is unique. Each day we have 4 girls that go to 3 different schools (that each start 15 minutes apart) so the rush is on to make sure each girl gets to school on time. Then my husband and I can go get our coffee and off to work we go. We are general contractors so where we are during the day depends. Then come towards the end of the day the rush is on to make sure each girl is picked up and brought back home and if there are special events (like cheerleading) this could take up to 4 hours (depending on if there is a game or not). After everybody is home sometimes our eldest has to be taken over to one of the families she babysits for or my husband has to go back to work.
