I'm a mother of four and grandmother of 4. My kids range in age from 12 - 24. I've always worked full-time (didn't want to, but we needed the income). Raising these children has been both a blessing, a joy, and a headache. I've worried about their schooling: dealing with teachers, peers, homework issues, etc. I've worried when one daughter was anorexic and the other went through her rebellious/defiant stage I've worried when one son was bullied and now the other has been diagnosed with autism. I worry about my grandkids, one who is starting kdgtn. Still I don't regret anything. My kids are wonderful, well adjusted and seeing my grown daughters - well I can honestly say they turned out to be wonderful, productive people.
