I'm not actually a mother, I'm a teenage girl who has problems at school (still in middle school). My friends really don't help me with my school problems, so I turned to GreatSchools for answers. My favorite family memories are the holidays, vacations, and trips. I lost my father in September 2008 after being diagnosed with liver cancer in 2005 and diabetes in 2008. My pet peeves are bad grades, horrible friends, conceited people, the bad economy, and global warming. In my free time I like to hang out with my friends as much as possible,of course with the approval of my overprotective mother. I'm Filipino, so I spend a lot of time with my mom's friends' kids (aka my extended family). I usually go to the movies with them or go to the mall. But I really love to read. My favorite book(s) are the Harry Potter series. If you bring up a topic about Harry Potter, be prepared. If you live in North Carolina or South Carolina, you probably know about Paramounts Carowinds Amusement Park.I love going there, since I'm a "Ride Warrior". It's all about the thrill rides for me. But like every other teenage girl, I have a boyfriend. I've all the rumors and downs with him, but he and I somehow get through it. We've been dating for a year. On school days, about 80% of a weekday is evolved around school. So I spend much of the summer on the computer and watching TV catching up on things. But so far the teenage life for me is pretty hard.
