I've been a navy wife for 18 years and counting. We are getting ready to move for the 12th time. I have struggled and learned to live with ADD combined (which means I have both.WOW!) as well as severe depression and anxiety. I have been blessed with a wonderful husband and 2 precious girls. My oldest has been tested for ADD/ADHD and is following in the footsteps of her mom. As much as I hate this, I know how she feels and how hard school is for her, so I am always looking for ways too help her WITHOUT medication. The medication is my last resort right now. I know she will eventually need it, but for now, we are trying other things. I embrace condition and am always looking for ways to help others cope. I would love to be in touch with other military spouses and other mom's who have depression and/or ADD/ADHD or who had kid's with these issues. I know alot about different schools, too. God has blessed my family and we are grateful!!!
