I'm Stephanie. I am a mom of three and I am also an Early Childhood Teacher. I have a lot of experience and passion for working with children who have Austism. I have two children in elementary school and one in preschool, (my class actually). I love my job and my family and luckily, my wonderful husband who is also a wonderful father is always here to support me and help me find some "me" time when I so desperately need it. A lot of people think that I don't have the same issues at my house with kids and school as others do because I am a teacher, but it is quite the opposite. Dealing with children who are not your own, in a classroom environment, with supportive staff and materials is a world of difference from dealing with your own children, in a home environment, and when you are no longer in "teacher mode" and have entered into "mom mode". Plus, I teach 4-year-olds who I can usually get to do what I want them to do by singing a song. That is also pretty different from my 8-year-old boy and my 10-year-old girl, who is in the middle of puberty. My life can get a little crazy as I am sure many of you can relate, however, when all is said and done it is pretty great life!
