With the exception of a few 'situations' with questionable actions, I think this school is a great learning institution. The kids seem to enjoy learing and most of the teachers really are concerned about their kids.
While transitioning from Europe to Asia, Irma attended TBJH for the first half of the year. Her Principal was very helpful, the staff was always professional, she was welcomed by the kids and still keeps in touch with some of them. She asked to be moved to Algebra and especially liked the Boys and Girls Club after school right in the building. She loved Alpena and attending TBJH so much that we bought a house where we'll come back so she can graduate from AHS. Thank you for making this a wonderful experience for her in Northern Michigan.
'As a former student at Thunder Bay Jr High, I feel as thought it is a wonderful school to put your children in. It is a very friendly environment and everyone knows you there by name
