I am an Alumni of this school. I would definitely never send my children here. It is so far out of the question the school may as well not exist. About the only good thing with this school is the small class size. Upon graduating (at the top of my class) I found the education I had received at Ashley to be entirely inadequate for ANY University I looked in to attending. While this school had a few good teachers that genuinely cared about your education, they had more that didn't. I learned more from my own personal home studies, after graduation, than I ever did or could have at this school. I graduated in the early 2000's and truly believe that unless this school has changed very nearly everything about itself since then, it can never truly prepare it's students for the outside real world. For pete's sake, Geometry was NEVER offered to us but once every 2 years! The highest math you could take was Algebra! The ACT's have Trig on them! Do your child a favor. Send them someplace else.

This is a small school that pays a lot of attention to its students and has parental involvement at every level. Class size is small and you get individual attention. Anybody that wants to play sports can you don't have to be the elite to get on a team. The high school has a majority of the students on the honor roll last year over half of the class had a 3.0 or better not bad I would say.

Ashley Schools are the best. At ashley you only memorize one school. I think small schools are best becuse they are easy to get around in you know a lot of the people around here. This is 6th grade here at ashley and i love it here. most of my moms side of the family went here and they all agree this is the best school around. sixth grade student 2007

Our academic program is stronger then the meaps indicate because of our size. a larger majority of the graduating class go on to collage. We have a strong and committed staff. We have smaller class sizes and soon many new classrooms as the new construction is compleated. The school will have a new modern look after construction and more disabled student friendly. Lots of afterschool activities drama, quiz bowl, sports. Sports and all activities are for everyone not a chosen few at Ashley all that want to play can play and for free! The sports program is rebuilding with our new AD Vandamark at the helm with track as a new feature. We have a good foundation for a upswing in our sports program football and basketball are already showing it with more wins and good sportsmanship for students and families a must! Parent & student input is high priority here.

This is the smallest school in the county and does not have very good teachers or sports.
