Bangor West would be my first choice among Bangor Township elementary schools. Parent involvement is encouraged by the administration; teachers are mostly friendly and concerned and seem well-prepared. The biggest caveat is that, because the school is located in the higher-income area of the district, it does not get as much funding for special education programs as Bangor Central or Bangor Lincoln.
I had a great time there and there are many activities for the students to be involved in.
