The students that come from this school are prepared to go on to college or learn a trade. During their time in school I read many success stories in a variety of areas.

BCHS provides opportunities for students to excel in a challenging environment. BCHS struggles with funding and other challenges common to most Michigan schools, but they also struggle to set high standards in a community where expectations are mediocre at best. When teachers set high standards it s difficult to bring students up to those standards without community support, but BCHS does its best. When neither students nor parents care about academics the cause seems hopeless, but if a student wants to do well, BCHS provides plentiful opportunity to excel through their programs and motivated staff. Even if students don t want to apply themselves, with parental support BCHS can give them the education they need to succeed.
