Berrien Springs schools are average for the area. There are much better schools for students to attend.
Excellent and diverse school. From basic freshman classes, to senior share-time and co-op classes, bshs has it all.
My daughter transfered from Buchanan to Berrien Springs. I was impressed from the first day of transfer. This school is very conservitive in there beliefs. Students are tought to be respectful and the teachers actually teach here. My daughter excelled and just got a full tuition scholarship to attend a Division 2 college and play volleyball. I contribute her success to this school. They believed in her as they do every child and they helped her believe in herself through there teaching and interacting. This school cares about there students. You dont find any politics behind the scenes and the body of students here are accepting of all denominations and all nationalities.
Loved the conservative teaching here. My daughter was able to maintain her conservative views freely. Out of of the 5 senior girls volleyball athletes, all 5 have signed to play college ball.
My daughter graduated from high school at Berrien Springs. She was in the special-ed class, plus took regular classes for the 4 years she was there and the teachers were great to her and to us as parents. Any concerns we had were taken care of and we can't say enough for the way the teachers took care of her. Our hats off to the special-ed teachers and all the teachers. A proud parent
I would like to share my experience as a parent whose children have attended the Berrien Springs public schools. My children were well educated. They were nurtured by professional, caring staff and administrators. The staff of the Berrien Springs schools guide and direct all of their students, and provide them with a quality education. Thank you!
The school is an extreme disappointment! The staff not only does a poor job teaching, but they act very immature and abuse their power as teachers and adults! The student are also very horrible. They goof off in class, play around with their cell phones, and they act and speak like childish. It is not a good place for a child, or even a adult! If you wish you child to succeed in life (get a good education and go to college), do not send them to any Berrien Springs schools!
