This school has a great student to teacher ratio and every kid gets the attention they need. It is the best elementary school in the district. The community in the area is very welcoming and takes a big role in the school. The superintendent of the school lives in the area and has a lot of experience. All of the 2005 graduating class were able to make it to college and are doing well.
Powell Township School is a wonderful school. It is very small and the teachers can in a small measure curtail the program to the childs needs. If you have a special needs child, the resources available are limited because of the schools funding and size.
When injuries occur, parents are not informed right away and there is no discipline for the children that cause the problem. The teachers are very good and help the students with their work.
Very little discipline in this school. And gets worse every year. New kids have a very hard time fitting in.
