So far I have been pleased with the schools in Montabella. I am a bit concerned about the new developments in the elementary due to being extremely unbalanced in student ratios in classes. They seem to vary from 12 to 31 dependent upon the size of the room. This is not a special ed setup, these are regular classes. It appears that the setup to move the kids into the highschool building was not well planned and was thrown together post haste to be ready for the next school year. There is an abundance of head lice, and the children are sharing lockers. This will likely proliferate the problem. The lockers are also way too large for the size of the children. Other than I think they need to rethink the setup so that there is more balance to the classes.

This school does not take a childs safety as one of their top priorities. Communication to childrens parents as well as its own staff members is extremely poor. Of course these are my own opinions and I base them on my own experiences.
