I transferred my kids here after leaving another local lutheran school. They are BY FAR getting a better education and a CHRIST centered education. Academically, my kids have both taken HUGE LEAPS in their learning since the transfer. My son came out of Kindergarten not being able to read (but did know some sight words), with a lot of loving help from the teacher he is now reading at nearly a second grade level and we couldn't be happier. The teachers and all of the staff are just wonderful. We first learned of them by attending their Vacation Bible school where we were AMAXZED at the 600 + kids that showed up the whole weak and seeing their love for CHRIST! Amazing Place.

I love this school... Our family transferred from another Lutheran School and we are so happy with the change. I have a Pre-K student and a 1st grader. When my first grader started, he was just barely starting to read in just 5 months time he is nearing the 2nd grade reading level. He gets Spanish class twice a week and is already singing songs and talking in sentences in Spanish.. ABSOLUTELY AMAZED! My Pre-K student was very very bashful and I thought I would never break out of his shell, his latest report says that he is progressing nicely and is doing very well. I attibute this to the WONDERFUL teachers and Staff and SOTL.. If you want a great school... THIS IS IT!

My son started at SOTL in preschool. We liked it so much we decided to enroll him there for his elementary education. I especially love the small class size and the individual attention he gets. This is going to be a great foundation for him.

I am more than pleased with the school, the curriculum, the teachers, administration and the entire program. What a blessing we have to be able to send our child to such a wonderful school.

5 Stars!! This school knows what it means to partner with parents to grow their students in the faith in Jesus Christ in which they are called. They not only have a strong academics but they teach the kids how to serve others through acts of kindness and what it truely means to be a disciple.

Shepherd of the Lakes is a wonderful school with a great nurturing, learning environment. The class sizes are small and the teachers are terrific--they go out of their way to make the children feel special. This is my daughter's 2nd year and I have seen a HUGE change in her. They have financial aid and are willing to work with your budget. You don't have to be Lutheran--any church is fine. I hope we can afford to keep her there for a long time.
