My two children are in their second year at Mapletree. One is in the lower elementary class and the other is in the primary (preschool) class. The curriculum at this school is far superior to any of the other local options, as well as the student to teacher ratios. These children all learn Spanish, and also have the option of studying Chinese. The children in the elementary classes enjoy yoga each week as well as gym, art, music and computer classes. There are other optional classes which include violin, guitar, drums, drama, and locomotion. All of teachers are very experienced, loving, but firm, and really emphasize personal responsibility and respect for each other. This school is a wonderful choice and we couldn't be happier.

my daughters have attended mapletree for 5 years and we are thrilled with their progress, both academically and socially. The cirriculum follows the child, unlike traditional schiols. If your 7 yr old is ready for division, then they are taught it...what a concept! Kindness, compassion, community service are practiced daily and the teachers are wonderful. Extras like yoga, spanish, nature education, violin and music make this school the perfect choice. You get out what you put in.

My child has atttended MTM since he was 2.5 and we have been very pleased with everything. It is a Montessori school and that was interesting to get used to but my child has really done well with this method of education. I can not imagine being happier with the choice based on the outcome in her.

My Granddaughter has been going to this school since Jan. 2007. She started when she was 2 1/2 and could hardly talk. Since she has been going to this school she has learned her letters a, b, m, c, t, r, and n. She can recognize numbers 1-10 and knows several Spanish words. Her prehensile grip is amazing to the point that she holds a pencil the right way and can use it well. This school offers the children Spanish 3 times a week, locomotion, cooking and special art. It is amazing how far she has come since she has been going to Maple Tree Montessori Academy.

My granddaughter goes to Maple Tree Montessori and has been doing wonderfully. She has been going there since Jan. 2007 when she was 33 months. Her speech has improved and social skills are much better. She has started recognizing her letters and numbers. This school offers art in several different ways and they have a locomotion class for those children who would like to do it. There are lessons given every day, whether it be Math two times a week, Language two times a week and writing once a week. I think that this school is a wonderful place to send your child if you are looking for a well rounded loving environment.
