I moved my students to Madison schools, figuring they would have a better education and could graduate from schools that were better than public schools. I was extremely wrong! Madison schools are horrible! I had so many safety concerns with my k student that I took her out the first wk. My 7th grader had so many bullying issues, broken promises and was discriminated against (by the principal & students) that I ended up pulling him out of school early too. I discourage people from sending their children to these schools, if they value and care about their children's safety and education. Also, I my child was behind where he should've been when he started attending the public school he attends now. I did think that some of the teachers and office employees were great. Its too bad that the rest of the people were the way they were. I thought it is supposed to be all about the kids, but at Madison schools, it not!

I made the decision to move my 9th grader from a larger public school to a smaller charter academy because it offered a smaller teacher to student ratio. Since moving to Madison my son has flourished. The teachers are great, the principal is always available when I have concerns and my son is much happier because he's in a safer environment. Madison still has some issues with poor communication and there are very few extra curricular activities but all in all I'm glad we made the switch and I would recommend Madison to other parents
