We love BCCS! It has outstanding teachers and administrators who are fully dedicated to helping children develop their whole selves - academically, socially, spiritually, and emotionally. We wholeheartedly recommend this school.
I am an alumni of Byron Center Christian and have found that the same values, morals, and perspective are still as they were 17 years ago. That being said, they are always advancing their technologies and teaching practices but to see that they still hold true to the founding belief that the school is based upon is an awesome thing to witness. I love being involved in the school and listening to my children pray before, during, and after school or singing in chapels.
The teachers at Byron Center Christian School truly love each child that has been entrusted to them in their classroom and feel they have been called by God to this vocation. When you think about the fact that they spend at least as much (if not more!) time with your child on a daily basis, what could be more important? I love how intentionally Christian the artwork, memory work, songs, and curriculum are - like my friend said the other day, "when you walk down the halls of school, you can just feel the Holy Spirit at work." What an awesome picture.
Hands down this is the best school i have seen. I have three kids (each attended). The speed and love in which the teachers perform is outstanding.
