We came to the Cadillac area knowing we would only be here a year while my husband was deployed with the military, and I am very glad my children went to McKinley school. While the school itself is a bit small, I think that actually helped my children out tremendously. We were able to get to know almost all of the teachers and students, the principal was always available to talk and could often be found interacting with students in the classrooms. My kids teachers were the best, their favorites, by far, and the school secretary was always so pleasant and helpful. My daughter has some special medical needs, and they were always more than willing to help accommodate her. There is a very active PTG for this school. Lots of fun family activities planned throughout the school year! We only wish our time here could be longer!
