The teachers will bend over backwards for your kids. Love them! It's small enough that kids can participate in sports or other extracurriculars without having to be a superstar. Solid academics. I love that they encourage kids to volunteer. They've had better principals, this one isn't really right for secondary school (the parking lot song was enough to cement that opinion). I blame the powers that be, they seem disconnected from many of the parents/students. Overall, I can't complain.
We will be forever grateful for the excellent education our children received while attending Plymouth Christian Academy. Our children were completely prepared for college. Not only were they prepared academically, but they also graduated with a strong faith and love for our Lord! My husband and I feel that PCA has a safe, caring environment that helped our children relax and learn. I strongly recommend PCA to anyone interested in a highly academic, biblically based education .
Been at this wonderful school for 11 years. Absolutely love it. Wonderful Godly caring teachers & faculty. They pour their hearts into our kids. Most incredible gift of a superintendent. Amazing!!! Thank you PCA !!
PCA has compassionate and caring teachers who inspire and encourage their students. I thank God that we have found such an amazing learning environment for our children.
This teachers and administrators at this school really love and care about the students. I have never experienced such a perfect combination of energy and warmth! I would highly recommend you consider this school if you value a strong Christian atmosphere that prepares students for a successful college experience!
Plymouth Christian Academy is an excellent school with outstanding teachers, strong curriculum, and wonderful staff. Athletics and Fine Arts offer kids many opportunities they may never get at a larger school.
Plymouth Christian Academy has been faithful to the Lord in His teachings since it began. I'm blessed to have had my children attend and now my grandchildren.
As an alumnus of Plymouth Christian Academy, I can honestly say that it is a great institution of higher education. However, moving beyond that, it provides something much more important. Plymouth Christian Academy provides an encourages the growth of friendship between students through various activites throughout the year. The friendships that are made during highschool lasts beyond graduation day.
We have been extremely happy with our daughter's experience at Plymouth Christian Academy. The small class sizes, Christian point of view and excellent academics are an integral part of the school. She looks forward to going to school each and every day and is growing both academically and spiritually.
After living overseas for over a year we moved to MI and desired to put our two girls into a Christian school. Plymouth Christian Academy came highly recommended. That was over eleven years ago. Our oldest daughter graduated from PCA two years ago and is thriving in her college education. PCA did a fabulous job preparing her for higher academics. Our youngest daughter is now a junior at PCA. We have greatly appreciated the teachers, administration and staff and how they have taken a genuine interest in our girls' development...academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually.
PCA has many fine attributes, but the most important and notable from my perspective is the character of the students themselves. Academics are of course, quite strong, sports programs are available as with other schools, and there are plenty of clubs. But the students are remarkable beyond imagination. There are no real cliques, instead, there is community. The students genuinely care for and pray for one another. They also genuinely care for the faculty, for the parents, and for their community. What one will find stepping through the doors of PCA are a whole lot of kids who behave more like siblings than friends. Encouragement, teamwork, compassion, support...these words are lived out large with this school. One hears frequently of a group who, of their own accord, will hold a bible study during the summer at their home, or of a young man who developed Miles for Mankind 5k run, or of the entire team, student body and parents who wear pink one night in support of one parent with breast cancer and her son who is a student athlete. This school is impacting a generation by instilling strong values and priorities. This school with its student body is joy incarnate.
Great education with excellent, caring staff. Students are accepted into many different colleges as well as military academies.
We have been very pleased with PCA - the academics, biblical teaching, structure, caring teachers and leadership. It was exactly what we were looking for in a school. Best of all my kids enjoy attending PCA!
Small classes gives opportunity for greater individual attention and development of relationships with the students and parents. Values and Morales are fundamentally taught and enforced. Principal is extremely engaged - always walking around talking to parents and students. No tolerance of misbehavior. Advanced learning classes are available. Uniforms are great, taking the focus (and stress) away from outward appearance. Refreshing to see less "cliches" and more interaction between girls and boys than other elementary schools. Playground is not very big, middle school bus system used for elementary, no bus system for some sports, and after-school care ends at 5:30 instead of 6pm. We switched to this school 2 years ago after experiencing the "opposite" of the points previous and have no regrets. This school provides the learning environment we were looking for: with a Christ based education as the foundation. Very happy here!
PCA is a wonderful academic center. Small classroom sizes allow for personalized attention & differentiated instructions. The teachers & administrators are warm, caring, and always available and open to discussion. My children love school, and are continuing to develop a love for learning. We are very happy & thankful to be a part of the PCA family.
PCA is a great school that has a "family feel" and always makes you feel welcome. The teachers are genuine and truly care about each student learning and growing. PCA teaches a Biblical worldview that is very important to our family and for our children.
The teachers at PCA are not just dedicated to the student's learning the state standards. The are committed to challenging each student based on their abilities. They care about the individual life of each student including their spiritual and personal future. The parent board along with school leadership is focused on leading with example. The character traits of kindness, respect, empathy, etc. are displayed to the students. Decisions are made not based on politics or on what other schools do. They are made based on prayer and God's direction.
Plymouth Christian Academy is a school striving for academic excellence while seeking to instill Godly character and values in its students. One of the important values that can be observed at the school is one of service to others. Each quarter, secondary students are required to serve others in the community and the end of the year culminates with a serve -athon event involving all students from preschool through high school reaching out to various charities in the metro area. The teachers at PCA choose to teach in a Christian environment and serve as role models to the students. They support the students outside of the classroom as well, as sponsors in extracurricular activities and as fans at sporting events. Parental involvement is high at the school and important to supporting many events happening there. The Parent Teacher Fellowship seeks to encourage and support the teachers and staff by praying for them, providing lunches and goodies for the teachers, and providing many volunteer hours to see that special events happen at Plymouth Christian. The warm and caring community at this school is modeled first by the staff from the top down and lived out by the families.
Excellent school with a strong college preparatory curriculum that is taught in a Christian environment. Students have enormous opportunities to participate in diversified sports and fine arts.
My three children have all attended PCA. We love the small class size, personal attention from the staff, and the ability for them to get involved in many aspects of school. But we especially love the fact that our family values and morals are upheld at school as they are taught all subjects from a Christian perspective. We also love the friendships that they have established that cause them to think more deeply about their faith and their life goals.
