This is a very good school. I rate them academically strong in all areas of the curriculum. My son started there at kindergarten and is now a 2nd grader. We love the montessori method because it caters to your childs abilities, strengths or weakness. Your child prgresses at their own pace. My son is excelling at math 2nd grade and has easily mastered the table of multiplication from 1-12. The school has materials that put these skills in to practice, like learning to do problems on a pythagoras board. He doesnt have to wait for any one to catch up, hence preventing boredom and disinterest in scholastic goals. I would highly recommend this school. The teachers are great and are supportive of the child' exersion of indpendence and being responsible and assetiveness, which can all help them as adults. I would recommend this school and suggest you take a parent tour to see the school for yourself.

As a newer parent here I was very surprised to find these reviews as I was just looking up their website and ran across this site. I completely disagree with some of the reviews on here. The school is great, perhaps its the parents with a problem, the school seems to be very helpful for all of the things I've needed. I've met many very happy families. My child doesn't have that teacher, but I've never heard complaints on her and as far as the principal, she's fine too. I would say check them out for yourself, like I did and you won't be dissapointed. I will also ask some of the parents I know to come on here and write the real reviews, not like the last post- which is not accurate as all.

We love it here, we transfered our son from another school last year and couldn't be happier. We let everyone know how great the staff and teachers are here. I'm surprised by some of the reviews on here- you can't believe everything you read! I suggest checking out the school for yourself. I've researched a lot on Montessori and once you enroll the teachers explain the learning process of the children, as they each get an individualized education. So we felt like we made a very informed choice. In our case our child was a bit behind for his age, but here he LOVES learning and is now doing great.

Not a good school for the money they charge. It is like a military school. They expect way too much discipline than what they do. My daughter is talking & chatting very well but did not progress academically. She wrote her letters wrong and no teacher corrected her. She has been there past 1.5 years and she does not even know to read a word. She picked up only from what I taught at home but I don't have time to sit with her in the evenings. I regret to have chosen this school. My daughter is for sure going to a different school next year.

I sent my son here the beginning of summer to enroll in the Discovery Camp. Each week was a different theme and the school arranged numerous in house presentations relating to the themes. His favorite week was When I Grow Up. Canton Firefighters, Canton Police and a Pilot from Delta Airlines came to talk about their careers. I have had a pleasant experience here, the school is beautiful and Jen is great.

My son has been going to Schoolhouse Montessori for 3 years and is about to finish first grade. I have seen a lot of positive changes in the school in the recent year. There was a slight change in the staff a year back but the changes were all positive changes. I absolutely love the elementary program at this school. I do believe the school administration is trying to make positive changes in regards to following through on parent survey and feedback. I filled out a parent survey along with some suggestions last month. Not only did I hear back from the school director but also from the owner of the school within one week. I have volunteered many times in the classroom and on field trips. There are a few moms of children at this school who are teachers themselves or involved in the public school system who have told me on many occasion the problems they see with the public school system and how happy they are with Schoolhouse Montessori. I certainly feel I am getting my money's worth by sending my child here. My son is doing so well. I am very happy with my choice of school.

I love the program at this school. There have been a few adminstrative changes with the last year and they have all been very positive. My child has been going to schoolhouse for over 3 years and I love the teachers. They are so dedicated and always willing to answer any concerns. There are a lot of assistant teachers who are all highly qualified in assisting the lead teachers in the preprimary classes. The kids do get a lot of individual attention. The elementary program is exceptional. There is so much one on one with the kids and at the same time they all learn to responsible and work independently.

Both our kids have gone through the school. In the past few years they've made a lot of changes- but for the better. When our son went through they didn't have an elementary school- they do now and we are planning on sending our daughter. We've been pleased. My child's teacher did leave last year, but her classroom seems to be doing great and I have better communication with her new teacher than the last, so I was actually glad.

Schoolhouse Montessori is only interested in money, and they do not care about the students! My child went to this school and for how much the tuition was, my child did NOT get the education he deserved. Each classroom has over 40 children, which means, no individual attention. For what I was paying I expected a better experience and I felt as if the staff didn't attend to any of my child's needs. I do NOT recommend anyone sending their child to this school.... they will be sorry. (Also, many of the teacher's that were excellent there left. What does that tell you about the school.)
