Cedar Springs Middle School staff is an amazing team of people. They work to ensure that students feel challended in their learning. Just as important, they work to create a safe environment for all students, free from harassment and bullying. The staff never stops learning themselves. All staff are required to know and apply the latest research on teaching and learning. Our parents are supportive and hold high standards for their children's learning and character. I am proud to send my own children to Cedar Springs Public Schools and interact with a great community of kids and parents.

This has been a wonderful and supportive school. I have a general ed. and special ed. student there. No one makes fun of my special needs child. In fact they are kind and greet her in the hallway. A special note about Mr. Scharphorn, the co-principle: he is very supportive and he really listens to your concerns. I always see him out in the hallway to greet the students in the morning...a great asset.

I have a regular ed. child and a special ed. child at this school. They both love it. My special ed child, for example, is treated with care and respect. Noone there has made fun of her. They get a good education in a safe and secure environment.
