Galewood is a great little school with a friendly and involved staff. As principal, since fall of 2009, I am thrilled to assist our students and community members and be a part of the welcoming Galewood team.
I am a parent of a former student of Galewood. He attended Galewood for 1st - 3rd grades. I had about given up with the school when he started 3rd grade with Mrs. Bohms. It was her who taught my son to love school again. With bad experiences the previous 2 years, it was much needed. The school itself is great, it just needs to weed out the teachers that are burned out.
Galewood is an excellent school. I was very pleased with my sons first year in kindagarden. We are looking forward to the fall. The teachers are great. They really care about their students. I highly recogmend this school to anyone, I am sure you would, not be dissatisfied.
