Good school if you take advantage of the opportunities offered including pre-post secondary curriculum and trade classes including woods, welding, auto shop, drafting, restaurant program (Drift Inn) and early childhood education. Overall not a bad school, definitely tries hard to meet the needs of the students.
I went to this school a few years back, grew up here. If you want to just get by or set a path for higher education it can be done here. You as a person set what kind of education you want to leave with. The teachers were there for the ones who wanted it and if you didn't well they weren't! I do have to say the education counciling could use a little help. They told me I would make a great flight attendant. I was an average student envolved in sports and was for sure headed to college. But not for a flight attendent! My best friend was told " no no you shouldn't got to school for grafic design you will never make it" Way to get the children thinking of bigger and better things out there for them. All in all I loved this school and only hope my children have the same type of teachers that care for them and their future as I did.
The PK (The Learning Center) located at the high school is a wonderful preschool. The teachers & high school helpers are very involved & caring about each child. The children graduate PK with the social & education needs to succeed in K and beyond.
This is a very great school i would recommend this school to anyone who wants to move to this area.
