The principal and office staff are all horribly rude. Any time you ask them a question, they act like it's a huge imposition for them to have to answer it. It's hard to get parents involved because they feel like they are being driven away.

My three children attended Carkenord and I have got to say that it exceeded my expectations! The principal is very hands on, she does intimidate some, but that is her role. When you get to know her, she has a great heart and the kids best interest at heart. Most of the teachers are amazing and pick up when a child needs help. My kids were very advanced and they did special things and projects with them to make sure they were always being pushed. They do a great job of picking the classrooms based on needs of the children and what teacher fits best. The school has a lot to offer any child! Moving to this area and attending Carkenord was one of the best things we ever did. The life skills my kids learned there they are still using today in middle school and high school. Great job!

We came to this school from another and I are school of choice. My child is disabled and the facilty at Carkenord has been really on the ball in getting things moving along with my child. The are professional, friendly and knowledgeable. My daughter enjoys going to school and seems to be succeeding in their program.
