The academics at Oak Valley are tremendous. They are NCA acredited, and they have earned an 'A' grade with the State of Michigan. The PTSA is very supportive of the teachers and students. In addition, there are a number of sports, clubs, and intramurals available to the students. The faculty, staff and administration are among the best I have seen. They are one of the top schools in Oakland county.

Three years of excellent programming and opportunity for our daughter. High test scores that continue to improve and an 'A' grade by the State of Michigan shows that Oak Valley is a school that should be considered by parents for their middle school child.

Oak Valley is a terrific learning environment with caring staff and students. They are definitely lacking in sport and extracurricular activites due to lack of funding in the district. While I believe parent involvement is welcome, there is no resource to find where help is necessary. A stronger PTO would be helpful. More communication to parents is recommended.
