Glengary Elementary School

Glengary is a wonderful school. The teachers are so loving and caring. I have had one child at the school from K-5th and now I have another child in 1st grade. I am thrilled with the PTA and parent involvement. These teachers really care about your child. I wish Glengary would get more state funding to update the school. Our school needs it.

The community involvement is great. The teachers are second to none and do everything they can even as our state continues to make cuts. The PTA is highly active and puts on events like a fun fest, camp night, family night, and more - and also supplies over 25k for supplies, field trips, school improvements, and technology. Our daughter did her first year there last year and went from barely being able to write her name to reading chapter books. A full day and homework in kindergarten suprised us, but the reward to see her learning in leaps and bounds showed us it paid great dividends.

The involvement of the parents makes Glengary stand out from other schools. It is a bright, clean and cheerful environment where the teachers and parents work together to provide a good learning environment.

My daughter has been going here for three years now and I am very happy with the quality of teachers and the education she has been getting here. She is very active in extra-curricular as well here at this school. Her MEAP scores were high as well two years running. I highly reccommend this school and the district.

Glengary is an excellent school. The staff are energetic and enthusiastic. The PTA is active and looks out for the needs of all the children. Both of my children have attended this school and they have learned a lot.
