Coopersville is a GREAT School, I have a daughter, a junior in the Highschool and a daughter, 7th Grade in the junior high. They have excellent teacher and excellent communication...Great palce to raise a family.

Coopersville seems to be a fine school. There's only so much they can do, parents need to be parents instead of sideline coaches and buddies. They try to get parents involved with their kids. To many parents, I would give 1 star.

This school is phenomenal. It is highly academic with lots of outside activities to participate in. It is the most difficult school that my kids have attended academically and yet they love it. Whatever else you read below is not really true. In fact, my child was able to go to Germany as an exchange student and then they came here!

This school does a poor job dealing with divorced parents especially if one parent lives outside the school district. The web site is horrible and gives little information even when logged on through the parent portal.

The school is focused on after-school activities rather than exposing the students to the outside world. Coopersville would benefit from exchange student programs, study-abroad programs, etc. More focus and attention should be given to pursuing higher education. Life doesn't stop outside of the district and I think the administration needs to address it.

Coopersville Area High school is a school focused on extracurricular activities. The teachers along with the administration favor students in academic activities such as extended homework time which goes against policy, no consequences for insubordinate behavior etc. The administration often trumps a teachers decision when it comes to athletes grade discipline and academics.

Most of the focus in Coopersville High School is all on sports. I know this because i am not a parent but a student at the School.
