Times have certainly changed since the review in 2005. The 2 million dollar face lift included new windows which constantly leak, there is no a/c so students on the second floor roast with the sun of the summer and the heating system boils the kids out during the winter so much so that they open windows to cool down the classrooms. The classes are maxed out now, no longer the 24 pupils per teacher, and technology compared to other schools seems to be lacking. They may have great test scores but I don't want my kid learning the test, I want them learning period. The teachers are still fabulous, a lot of fresh faces as well from what I understand. However, they can only work with what they are given.

Tops in Davison district. Challenging Academic Program, for gifted children. Great staff and admin. Just had 2 million dollar facelift of entire building and site. Test scores typically far above most other Genesee county districts. 550 students. Grades 1 - 4. Typical class size = 24, but many , many citizen volunteers and paraprofessionals dot the halls, playgrounds, crosswalks and rooms, believe me.
