My son is in an autistic impaired classroom. I have a good relationship with my son's teacher, and his support staff. The individuals I deal with regularly are competent, and seem to truly enjoy their careers. I am very pleased with this school.
Howe School offers the best in academic programs. They use real world situations to aid in the learning process that broadens the students view of his/her world. They encourage student participation in extracurricular activities and gives everyone a chance to shine. Under new leadership parental involvement is on the rise and also encouraged.
I am a parent of 3 childrent whom had went to Howe. The curriculum was Detroit Public school average, nothin special there. The administration was very weak when it came to disaplining for fights and other misconducts. My children's teachers were good, they really deserve a raise.The school was kept clean but I will never send my kids back there.
My Child Go's to Howe Elementary School. She like it there Because of the nice teachers. I like it Because of hoe the teachers keep you up on how your child class work as well as home work is coming along. The teacher will e-mail you with the week work plan for your child. They care about how your child learn!
