The Pre- K program at this location is not affiliated with the charter but the private school(Cornerstone). They maintain the same high standards as the main campus located on Nevada .Their Pre-K program is awesome . My son loves going to school to learn. His teacher , Ms Turner , and the teachers assistant, Ms Ross, create an environment that is both nurturing and fosters learning . I would recommend this program to any parent looking for a GREAT option other than daycare . My son is reading and writing ...

My son attends Cornerstone Lincoln King Academy. He began when the school switched from tuition based to charter and I can say I am very happy that I found this school and proud of my son's grades achievement. He has learned a lot and really loves the school and most of the teachers. I would highly recommend.

Our school holds high standards to both students and staff. Students are expected to excel academically and personally. Our 10 Character Pillars (respect, responsibility, patience, love, gentleness, kindness, faithfulness, citizenship, self-control and goodness) guide our teaching to help our students to achieve this high potential. We, as teachers, are also expected to uphold these principles and do. The character traits are discussed on a daily, weekly and monthly basis as a part of our character education curriculum as well as in our morning staff meetings. Most recently, thanks to our fantastic Dean of Students and art teacher, these traits etched into the newly painted walls of our cafeteria. Students are reminded of these traits daily.

This school has really went downhill since the charter. The teachers do not care about the children and have no patience. They expect perfection from the children and not the same from the teachers. The middle school children has not had a math teacher all school year and it's ridiculous. The only form of discipline that is used is suspension for things such as getting out of their chair, talking in the lunch room, and other little things. The dean is students is a disgrace, along with the school.

In defense of the LIncoln-King Campus, I must extend my gratitude to the faculty, staff and administrative leadership to which I'm most familiar. I am not only a staff member of Cornerstone Charter Schools, but I am the proud parent of a Cornerstone graduate. This campus in particular has provided a foundation by which my child has not only grown academically, but has been molded into a polished and socially conscious teen. I am confident that this individual is well on her way to becoming a responsible young adult grounded in integrity, humility, and a respectable work ethic because of the efforts of the educators and extended family from this very campus. We must be clear as to what our expectations are of both this institution and the children within it. We must ask OURSELVES,how instrumental are WE in the process of ensuring that our " family trees" bear the "best" fruit? Give this school time.

Curriculum is excellent. My daughter is in Kindergarden and is reading well and very intelligent. Parents have to help with real homework that is required. It is now called Lincoln-King Academy. Excellent choice

My child has attended Cornerstone since Kindergarden (Linwood then Grove) This is an excellent school. The Christian values and morales was a great assistance for me in raising my child. Academically it is great as well. However I do see it depends on the teachers some are better at what they do than others and all teachers should be on the same page is my only complaint. My child will be continuing her education until the 8th grade she will be attending the Nevada campus and prayerfully I will get the same outcome of parent participation, teacher involvement and Christian values being demonstrated on a daily basis. Well see keep you posted.
