I moved to the UP to place my 2 teenage boys in Dollar Bay High as their father had received a wonderful education at this small hometown school. Both boys have thrived due to the small class sizes and the level of care, concern, and abilities of their teachers, counselor, coaches, along with the administration staff. We have been her 4 years and I feel blessed that my children have had this wonderful experience.

LOCATED IN THE KEWEENAW PENINSULA OF UPPER MICHIGAN, THIS SCHOOL IS THE SMALLEST CLASS D SCHOOL IN THE STATE, YET, PRODUCES VERY PROFICIENT RESULTS ACADEMICALLY. I AM PROUD TO BE A GRADUATE OF DOLLAR BAY, AS WELL AS PROUD TO HAVE OUR DAUGHTERS EDUCATED THERE OF WHICH WE HAVE GRADUATED 3 WITH ONE REMAINING. IN TODAY'S TOUGH ECONOMIC TIMES, PARTICULARLY, WITH SMALL SCHOOL DISTSRICTS, FINANCIAL ISSUES ARE ON A CONSTANT FOREFRONT. PARTICULARLY IN AREA'S OF MUSIC & SPORTS WHICH UNFORTUNATELY WILL TAKE A BACK BURNER IN ORDER TO CONTINUE WITH AN EXCEPTIONAL LEVEL OF EDUCATION. THIS MONEY WOULD BE BENEFICIAL TO SUPPORTING THE SCHOOL AS A WHOLE.

I love the small school atmosphere. The personal attention that each student receives.

My 2 boys graduated from this school. They really loved going there. One of them did attend 2 other schools, in which he said that Dollar Bay was the only school that actually taught him, he learned alot from Dollar Bay. The teachers were wonderful! He went back to graduate with his class. The other boy plans on sending his kids to Dollar Bay, where he and his wife attended.
