I feel fortunate to have my children attending the elementary school. Beginning with the principal who is compassionate, forward thinking, and responsive to the needs of parents and students. His leadership leads right to the staff who are equally caring and knowledgeable. What a great place!
Our school strives to be the best. One teacher last year had a bike athon for the third grade class. The rode over 250 Miles and raised 2000.00 dollars the kids had fun and raised money for the third grade while doing it.
What a great collection of wonderful administration, teachers, organizations, and volunteers that combine at East Jordan Elementary School. We are fortunate to have volunteers from the Crooked Tree Arts Council offer free string instrument lessons to our children. Our 4-H program, in cooperation with the elementary school, offers many different programs from soccer to junior master gardening and beyond. EJES also offers a wonderful art program with many unique projects. The principal is by all-means our best asset. He is always willing to lend a hand, an ear, or a voice wherever needed. His outgoing personality makes him a big hit with the students! He is always willing to volunteer for some silly stunt when the children meet(or exceed)goals. I couldn't ask for a better school system, and I feel very lucky that I am able to get this kind of quality education for my children right within my hometown!
