Excellent & Outstanding School! We live in Plymouth and it is Worth the Trip to bring my children here. My son started at the age of 2 and my daughter at the age of 3 and each are treated like Individuals and NOT just like a Number in the System. This is especially important as my children have had Emotional/Behavioral special needs. They've passed screenings for Autism in the Public Schools, but they were defaulted to Special Education programs. Programs offering 'therapies' geared for autistic children because they can't (or won't) work with my children as Individuals. While the children and I endured this frustrating and at times humiliating screening process as directed by U-M Mott; both Ms. Suman and Mr. Raj have patiently held firm on their belief that my children are each Beautiful, Talented and Gifted Individuals with Potentials that deserve to be Nurtured, Fostered and that they just needed Time to heal and grow. Therefore they have become Extended Family to us and we are very, very Blessed to have them in our lives. We also tried a local private school but we were disappointed with the quality of education and compassion for the children.

Academic excellence for a child is a key objective for any good parent. This is what Artstart has provided my son for more than a year. He was enrolled in the school at 10 months and now at barely 2 years old, he counts from zero to 30, has recognition of numbers, knows and articulates all shapes, clearly pronounces and recognizes all alphabets, strong knowledge of phonics for each alphabet and more. People ask if he is gifted and I say no just well educated at Artstart. Ms. Val was his teacher for more than a year. My husband and I attribute my son's success to her. If anyone is looking for a school for their young one with a loving and yet structured environment and a strong focus on academics, then Artstart is the place for your child.

Artstart Montessori has done wonders for my kindergarten child. He is doing very advanced work. He is at the 4th grade level. He has also become a very independent and self motivated individual. The staff is wonderful. Extra curricular activities make it a more fun and enjoyable experience. The director Ms. Suman is a very caring and nurturing person. Try this school and I know you will love it.

Our triplets attended Art Start Mont. for 3 years, and I couldn't be more pleased with our experiences at this school. It all starts with the director Ms. Suman who believes that children have a greater desire and capacity to learn than we often give them credit for. As a result, our children excelled to new heights while at Art Start. Prior to starting kindergarten, Art Start had each of our children reading (& comprehending) chapter books, completing double digit addition and subtraction with regrouping, writing paragraphs and speaking Spanish. In addition to academics, Art Start made significant contributions towards the social and emotional development of our children. This is a GREAT school. Our children are now attending a private elementary school, and are doing exceedingly well, to say the least. Without question, this is a result of their enrollment and experiences at Art Start.

My toddler started at this great school last year. We are very pleased and want to let all of future parents know that this is an amazing place. My child can read, do math and science. He has also learned some Spanish and he enjoys the dance class. The staff and the Director Ms. Suman are wonderful. We are thankful for such dedication even on the days off my child wants to go to school.

My daughter has been going to artstart Montessori since Jan ,07. I am really happy with the school , teachers and their teaching techniques. There has been excellent progress in her social and emotional development. They also provide very good exercises material. Their entire staff , specially Ms. Suman , Ms. Dina & Ms Ragini is very loving and caring. They are not just the teacher, also they are very good mentor and care taker. My four year old can read and write and also do basic addition. There are so many advantages of these Montessori like , they are year around , they are too good at academics , also they provide breakfast , hot lunch ( Most of the time its cooked in the school ) and snacks. They have infant and toddler day care in the same campus. My 21 month son goes to there infant day care

My difficult child was kicked out of two preschools and the wonderful ladies at Artstart were able to handle him, teach him, and love him. They teach more then just the ABC's. I love the dance classes, Tumblebus and plasterworks! They are well educated and really care about the children. A+ school.
