This school is not worthy of any stars. Their fee is too high and education is nothing. The children are scared all the time. My son went to this school for 1 year. He used to be a confident child but now has lost all of it, all due to the treatment he got from the director and staff. I cannot believe that the state does not question the unruly discipline policy.

I did not have a good experience with this school. I agree teachers are experienced, building is awesome and activities are numerous but remember, a happy child care center is chaotic and noisy. Beware of all child care centers that do not treat your child the right way. Even if there is a slight doubt about a child care center pull out your child because your child's life ,physical health and mental growth are more important. These things only come when director and teachers are loving, especially at this tender age. My child is at a different place and is doing great. Do not repent later for your child ,all parents please ensure safety of your child which is more important than anything..

My son picked up learned lot of new things academically. He was going starting jan 2013 and we didn't send him for the summer. But then I needed someone to keep him for 3 days and since he was missing school I called up karen (owner) to help me out. She was great , she didn't take a sec to say yes. It was very relaxing for me knowing where he is going. Thanks

This is a glorified daycare. They sing songs and play. The special math instruction they clamour about amounts to the child picking a simple game or two and going off on his own. You get little feedback other that the infrequent parent'/teacher meetings. For what you pay there should be more progress reports. My son spent 3 years there (my ex wife was more or less taken in by their claims). They failed to teach him any reading skills over and above what i had been doing at home.

My son has been attending Children's Place Montessori since the beginning of January 2013. I really like this school and its environment. The teachers are loving and caring for the children, as well very well trained. His teacher has been working there for more than 16 years, and both of his teacher's assistants are also Montessori teacher trained . That's why, I could not find any other school around this area with as experienced staff as Children's Place Montessori. I also really like their enrichment classes: cooking, gardening, yoga, arts and especially music class! Ms. Karen (the director and owner) is a very kind person, and very experienced music teacher. She sings and plays piano beautifully. Many times I went to pick up my from school, and had the opportunity to hear the children enjoying singing and dancing during music class. Ms. Karen prepared the children for an awesome presentation of singing country music and square dance for the end of the school year program. I was amazed seeing my son (whom is kind of "shy" child) singing and dancing during this program. So far, I am so pleased with this school. I plan to enroll my son for Fall again.

Parents,Please be aware of the fact that some reviews are written by the staff or the director and that is the reason they are such great reviews on this site. The truth about this school is that your child is served left over cake from Christmas during Valentine and I confirmed what my son said when I visited on friday at snack time.My 4 year old son used to shiver when he heard the name of the principal MsKaren. He used to be such a happy going child before going to this school and now he is depressed and very quiet. We pulled him out of this school.

We have three children, and I trusted Childrens Place to care for all of them. The two older children are enrolled in ACAT programs, in elementary grades now, but still crave to go back to their original home! Thanks to Ms. Karen and her team's efforts! Kids from this montessori passed ACAT tests when so many other montessori kids didnt make it! Anyone looking for a strong foundation to ensure wholistic citizens for the future, should have no second thoughts about this school. In addition to academics, the school takes care of the children's nutrition, social awareness, intercultural and faith diversity awareness plus more. My last child is still in the montessori, she knows if the lunch I pack for her is not her favorite, her teachers will find her something she likes, what more can I ask for :)

After nearly 2 months of research and tours - I visited most Montessori schools within 20 minutes of my home - I could not decide which one my son and I would like. However, as soon as I visited Children's Place Montessori, I knew - this is it! As you can imagine, I was very happy to find this wonderful school to give my son a great start. I was impressed not only by the very clean and spacious facility, but more importantly, by the engaging teachers, responsible staff and overall management quality. It's been over one and half year since my son first started at Children's Place Montessori and I can clearly see his tremendous development in vocabulary, reading, mathematics, and life skills. Furthermore, the school is very active in fostering my son's interest in music. There are also a lot of events organized throughout the school year with a lot of parents involvement. This is a high quality preschool that demonstrates real passion in developing children's life, social and academic skills in early stage. An excellent school!!

This is by far the best Montessori school in the city. Their focus on providing strong foundation at the early age reflects clearly on my child's development. I could see the improvement in my child's vocabulary, activity and writing skills within a month after joining Childrens Place Montessori. Staff and Management are very friendly and they make sure every kid gets personal attention. Their playground a huge plus. I would certainly recommend this school.

We had such a great experience sending my older child to this school that we have enrolled the younger one in the same school! This school uses the montessori method of teaching and my older child's academic growth was excellent that he was 2 grades above his level when he graduated from this school. The teachers are very caring and stay committed to the school and students...I would recommend this to anyone who are interested in providing quality education for their child in a nurturing and disciplined environment!

This is our daughter s first year in this school after attending another similar school last year. Just in few months, we can clearly see significant academic growth and more importantly improvement in the personal development area. The staff is very friendly, caring, loving and provides the attention these kids need. My daughter is really enjoying all aspects of her daily routine that include learning, playtime, singing and story time. The facility is maintained very well and I can easily recommend this school to all my friends and others.

The school has a beautiful building but we did not have such a good experience.I feel while choosing a school for your child it is essential to take into account a lot of other aspects other than biulding, facility and parties.School should be in accordance to the child's needs.

Our son has been going to Children's Place for a year. Children's Place provides a good basis and exposure to academics and other enrichment activities (Music/Languages). The teachers do provide individual attention to our kids. It is surely the right place for our kids. I wish I had enrolled my son sooner than last year. Children's Place principal and teachers put in a lot of effort to ensure that all the kids/families are brought together via children shows, parties, special events. They bring out the talent hidden in our children. Children's place is like extendend family...

The principal and teachers are a great team to ensure a strong foundation for the children. They are structured and genuinely commitment to the children's needs and development. I was very impressed with the foundation my oldest child received that it has enabled her to be in delta programs at public school. This school encourages a good inter racial communication development between the kids.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

What is the GreatSchools Rating?

The GreatSchools rating is a simple tool for parents to compare schools based on test scores, student academic growth, and college readiness. It compares schools across the state, where the highest rated schools in the state are designated as “Above Average” and the lowest “Below Average.” It is designed to be a starting point to help parents make baseline comparisons. We always advise parents to visit the school and consider other information on school performance and programs, as well as consider their child's and family's needs as part of the school selection process.
