Recognized as one of the area's best schools by the National Schools To Watch Program. Fruitport MIddle has made great strides in meeting kids needs and is being recognized for it. A great place for my kids...

We had three students in the Fruitport school system. We found that consistently the teachers did not have good relationships with the students or communication with the parents. They would not call or email if there was a problem and they would not mail or email progress reports. Parents were not even notified of in-school suspensions so parents would not have a clue that there child was behaving poorly until it got to the point of out-of school suspension. The school was not consistent with their policies and they refused to work with parents concerning behavioral plans. We support the school in disciplining our children, but there needs to be consistency, communication, and the desire for them to succeed.
