My three children have all attended Galien Elementary (Wolford) School. We have lived in Niles for the last five years and have driven them to attend Galien. Mrs. Kalinowski started us off with her wonderful pre-school program and we have had great, caring teacher's ever since; Ms. Stover, Mrs. Chase, Mr. Miller and Mrs. Mitchell, just to name a few. And we cannot forget Mrs. Habel and Mrs. Constable, exceptional teacher aides. The Galien Elementary teacher's are there because they care and they are continuing to improve the quality of education offered. Bigger is not always better; small schools have a lot to offer too!
