Myers has the best teachers. They have excelled in their teaching requirements set forth by the State and they consistently go above and beyond. Myers parents love the school so much that they are the number one school in the Grand Blanc area for parent volunteers. The parents and teachers work together to help all of the children learn and succeed. The principal supports her staff and loves the children so much that she has even kissed a snake for them at an assembly. How cool is that?
Wow, my daughter will be ready for the GED after 3rd grade. They've covered geometry, algebra, earth science, biology and now they're getting into chemistry. Not sure what we'll be doing in 10th grade? A little too much I think all crammed into one year. It's all about image and the Meap though at Grand Blanc.
The staff are wonderful. We truly love this school!
Best school ever that I have seen.
My 2 kids go to this school and we really like how so many parents are involved. The staff is good. Some teachers are excellent and others are just ok. Parents do get to request the teachers they want for their child so it helps to be involved and know who you would like to have.
Myers has an excellenet staff that truly cares about their students and their success. I would HIGHLY recommend this school to anyone moving to the Grand Blanc area.
What the building lacks due to age, the principal and staff more than make up. Like every school, some teachers are better than others. It pays to ask other parents of their experiences and give input to your childs teacher for the next year. The staff listen and communicate well with both parents and students. Performance feedback is easily obtained. My daughter is in one of the trailers this year and doesn't mind it one bit.
As far as I'm concerned this school is just what I was looking for. Yeah the school is old, but it's not a safety hazard. The first time I walked through the school I loved it. I love this school and so do my children.
I have had nothing but a positive experience from my children attending this school. The teachers are professional and caring. The office staff is always friendly and courteous. I have been and continue to be impressed by the way it's run. The building itself is old but I'm not concerned with the appearance of a building, it's what's inside that counts. They do a great job.
This school is a very old school. The structure shows every bit of it's age. My children have not had the greatest teachers but I am sure that there are some good ones. A lot of the students in the upper grades are in trailer classes not attached to the main building. The ratio of student per teacher is higher than expected. The office staff is quite good and receptive. The teachers need continued education. Other than that it is not as bad as other schools they I have seen.
