We are past parents of Grand Haven Christian School. We love the academics and spiritual base our sons received. We strongly encourage all parents to check out GHCS!

Terrific, Christ-connected education. A very open community of families.

Average school. Nothing special about teaching. Calvinist will feel right at home but other denominations and faiths will be casually ostracized. Reading was not emphasized till 3rd and 4th grades. Educationally, Spring Lake School System far exceeds Grand Haven Christian. Principally it comes in second also, not being able to present the same material, opportunities or attention to everyone on an equal basis. Ostracism of those not affiliated with a Calvinist group or familially related is overwhelming. Nothing is done out of the box. They have lots of fund raisers, but offer very little financial aid.

Good School, not exceptional! Small lower elementary class sizes, however no outside the box teaching or accelerated learning. Limited focus on setting goals and follow through.
