Solid curriculum, challenging yet fun projects and little pretension. This school is one of the best I have experienced.

After researching the state of Michigan, we found EGR schools in general and Wealthy School in particular to be the finest public district in the state. We relocated from a city 90 miles away to EGR just for the school district & I drive 1.5 hours to work each day. We have not been disappointed. School districts from all parts of the Midwest come to EGR to benchmark the schools programs. My relatives visited from Chicago and live in the acclaimed New Trier school district on the north shore. After looking at EGR curriculum and attending a class, they were convinced it was superior to New Trier. The only real negative is that EGR high school offers fewer AP classes than other elite public schools in the midwest. On the other hand, the residents of EGR could not be more supportive and proud of this great school system.
