This is an excellent School. My daughter is in Kindergarden and she enjoys attending this school. She always comes home discussing her dy and reviewing what she has learned. Her writing skills have improved and she is always practicing her letters, wanting to be able to read and write more!!!!

This school continues to excell. I enjoy hearing my child talk about her experiences at NORTH. This staff shows they care for all my kids and they want to help kids be successful in the future.

North Godwin is a wonderful school and has dramatically changed the way my daughter is academically excelling. The reading program is great and Master Classroom really keeps her motivated.

North Godwin is an excellent school and is finally being recognized for the great instructional practices that go on there. Recently, they received National Recognition and received the Dispelling the Myth Award. North Godwin serves a diverse student population which enhance student growth and learning by allowing student to learn by experiencing each other differences. Students are excelling at North because of the diverse environment, caring teachers and excellent instruction that happens daily. I would highly recommend this school to any parent who values education!

I think the teachers try very hard to keep the kids motivated. My child has done very well in the individualized reading and math but this year they are not doing this. She is falling behind her peers in other schools. There is very little parent involvement.

i think it is a wonderful school.yes, sometimes they give too much homework but they really improve your language skills.for instance one word the sixth graders learned is 'tenicious'.and they can use it correctly in a sentance.and we at home are amazed at their math and science skills.

Our school is awesome and the teachers are even better they take the time to get what each student needs. These kids are amazing by the end of year they are different people literally.

I have two kids in this school, now in Kindergarten and 2nd grade. Class size has always been very large: 23-25 kids. The teachers are pretty good, but not great. It seems to be a school that really pushes the kids very hard (too hard?) in academics and behavior. Very structured behavior guidelines and lots of homework. Homework every night in Kindergarten! Does have great racial and economic mix. No after-school prgrams, and poor parent involvement. A good school, but with problems.
