I love Shawmut! I drive me child to the other side of town every day so he can receive the excellent education he is getting at Shawmut. The kids know the rules and respect them. The teachers, principal and parents all work together as a team to educate the students. I love that I can be so involved...I would not want to be anywhere else.

My granddaughter who lives with me attends Kindergarten at Shawmut Hills elementary school. She is very bright and could read at the beginning of the school year. I was concerned that she would not be challenged, but my fears were laid to rest at my first parent teacher conference. The outstanding teacher had caught on very quickly that my gal could read, had her tested, and began offering her advanced material. It is a very difficult task to teach a class with students starting from different levels and different abilities. This kindergarten teacher has everything well in hand. There are other enrichment programs offered as well;such as, music, art, etc. The school is small enough to be personal and large enough to offer extras. It is a gem.
