Southeast Academic Center

i'm a former student of s.e.a.c. and i must say i loved attending there. i went there from k-8. alot has changed since i was a student. they have moved buildings (into a pretty shady neighborhood) they have adapted to uniforms which i personally hate but some parents love so that is a matter of opinion...they also have lost alot of great teachers. the teachers that taught when i went there were there for every year i was.u always anticipated between 2 teachers every year . you knew it what teacher u wanted for next year even before next year arrived. to me the quality of learning and education has been lowered. the only thing seac.didnt do for me was prep me for highschool socially because of the small class sizes and how long i attended. highschool was a little awkward starting off. alot has changed but i still love it!!!!!!!!!!

Southeast Academic Center is an overall good school in my opinion.I know this because I attended for 7th and 8th grade.This is actually about one of the best eleamentary/middle schools Grand Rapids Public Schools has to offer.It is a great high school/college prep school because homework is assigned everyday of the whole school year and there is a lot of hands on learning and reports.Curently this school does have the uniform policy.
