As a father of two children at Challenger, I cannot say enough good things about the Principal, teachers, and the entire Challenger family. Children are taught to be valued and to respect each other. We're sad to be leaving the district but leave with fond memories and high expectations for our next school system for my kids.
Please be aware that because of the high poverty and behavior issues of many students, we felt the teachers are stretched to be able to provide adequately for all students. We loved all our children's teachers but we had to leave the school due to issues stemming from this. My children attended 2001-2003.
This school is top-notch. My kids are going to be in the 4 and 5th grades this fall, and they are receiving an excellent education. The principal and staff are wonderful.
