This school has moved to Jefferson Ave., but it makes no difference. Remember that article a year or so back about how this school was "out of control?" Well, it still is. The students are not the problem at this school; the problem is the staff and administration do not care what the kids do. Students use Facebook, Youtube and other social networking sites while they are supposed to be doing their work. It's against the rules, but the staff just watches them do it. Students also roam the hallways and talk on their cellphones during classtime. And when an adult calls them out on such behavior, the students cuss them out, make verbal threats and completely disrespect them. And what does the staff and administration do when such behavior occurs? NOTHING!!! The people who run this school are supposed to be preparing these adolescents for acceptance into actual GRPS schools, but by allowing such actions to go on in their own building they are not teaching these kids anything positive, only giving them the impression you can do whatever you want and suffer no negative consequences. And you wonder why the GRPS gets such a bad reputation? Look no further than these kinds of schools!
