My son has been in this school for 5 years, and so far, only one teacher that he has had has even shown that they care. I am not happy with the teachers at Walnut Hills.
I have two children at Walnut Hills, one in 2nd grade and the other in 4th grade. In the five years that I have been assoicated with this school I have been very pleased. The principal has done some really good things for the school and the kids. The teachers and support staff are friendly, good with the kids and always willing to work with the parents. My kids have friends in other school districts and they are much farther ahead in reading and math. It's a great school.
I have had my children in 2 other schools in this district, and by far Walnut is the best yet!! The principal is wonderful, he has done so much for this school and he knows just about every kids name while walking down the halls, the Teachers are Great!! Most go over and above what is expected out of them, and the P.T.O. does so much for the school and the kids. It's such a nice feeling to walk down the hall and have everyone smile and/or greet you in passing.
