The teachers would take time out of their day to make sure that a student who was behind in the curriculum would be caught up. I have also noticed a genuine increase in my child's grades and attitude since we have switched over to Grattan. Absolutely the best environment, and I am glad that my child is able to learn from such wonderful people that I trust.

A staff that cares and gives the students a chance to learn in small classes with excellent teachers

School is poorly cleaned, a full time janitor is needed, as well as a full time principal. He does a good job when he is there.

I have to laugh when I read these reviews. I had one of my daughters in this school and had to pull her out because of the lack of professionalism with her teachers and the principal. I understand that now the Elem. principal is over both the elem and the MS/HS and I hope this is a great improvement. I also had 3 children in the elem. at grattan and that was a wonderful experience with wonderful teachers. Unfortunatly, what we were told when we registed our daughter was way off base and there were a lot of parents who felt the same way I did. I hope that the school as turned around, but when I was involved there, it was a 'reject school' for the kids who were getting kicked out of Belding and Greenville. Not a place where I want my kids learning...

We had homeschooled our children because we weren't satisfied with the way today's schools were run. Our children thrive at their own pace, are taught the proper way to learn, respect others, and prepare for the future. Unlike other schools, Grattan encourages parent participation. We are welcomed with open arms, anytime we visit the school. The staff is so well qualified not only to teach academics, but also to lead our children on the right moral path in life. Without Grattan, we would still be homeschooling.

We have two children @ G.A.H.S. and would home school if not for these wonderful devoted teachers and who we feel is one of the best principals around. Mrs. Browers can keep the kids in line and at the same time have the childrens respect and friendship. It takes a special person to be able to accomplish that. Go Grattan!

I love the improvements to the academic program this year! The caliber of teachers is fantastic, and I can see that my children are being well prepared for college when they graduate. The Principal works with parents to continue to bring improvement to the school. I like the direction of the school.
