My children have attended St. Clare since pre-school. They are currently in fifth and sixth grade, and I can tell you there is no other school like it! It is diverse racially, economically, and spiritually. The children and teachers are hard-working and inspiring. The parents are involved and committed. There is a slew of after school activities from knitting club to the annual school musical -- which features a live orchestra and sells out the War Memorial theater for multiple performances every year. If you want your child to be challenged academically in an atmosphere that will prepare them for the real world, you cannot do better than St. Clare! From its outstanding principal to its wonderful staff and parents, St. Clare is committed to building character and leaders who know what's right -- and have the courage to do what's right.

I have been a part of St. Clare Cooperative Nursery School for 6 years. All three of my boys thrived through the program. The teachers are master level teachers and provide a unique educational plan for individual learners. My children have been more than prepared for Kindergarten. As a parent, I enjoyed working in the classroom and developing friendships with the other parents. I wouldn't hesitate to send your child to this wonderful co-op.

I have a Kindergartener and Second Grader at St. Clare who both love their school! Academically, St. Clare provides a challenging curriculum that develops the children s intellect through their focus on cultivating advanced literary skills. As a parent, I love the school community. At St. Clare, children are taught values such as kindness, respect and to care about what is going on in the world around them. These values are reinforced at home by the parents, which makes for a unique student community where service to others is the norm.

I am a proud St. Clare alumna. The school has always provided the highest quality education available to students. Our child (and the other students) loves it there! As parents, we could not have asked for a better school to send our son to.

As a past student at St. Clare, who started in the 2nd grade and graduated from there, I can truely say that my experience there was nothing but great. St. Clare introduced me to people who have been my best friends throughout my life. I am now 21 and some of the best memories of my life have been from St. Clare. The athletic organization was great when I attened, as well as, the teachers, principal, and facilities. Furthermore, St. Clare brings together different students from all walks of life. I am/was a resident of Detroit, however, you found many children coming from Grosse Point and other closely surrounding cities. Overall, St. Clare was the best choice my parents made concerning my education. I loved it!!

St. Clare is a wonderful school. My daughter has been a student there since preschool and will be entering 2nd grade this fall. St. Clare has a great balance with religion and a very strong academic program. Not only does St. Clare focus on academic abilities, but also has an emphasis on building great character traits as well. I have recommended St. Clare to everyone I know and for those who have joined the St. Clare family, they are truly pleased with the outcome. Every fall, my daughter and I look forward to a great school year.

St. Clare is a great center for learning, growing, loving, and sharing. The teachers and staff really care about the students, just as if they were their own children. High academics is stressed as well as achieved with students scoring well above grade level in national standardized testing. Would recommend to anyone looking for quality education and wanting well-rounded students upon graduation.

This is such a wonderful school. The teachers are top notch and go the extra mile for the children. The school gives the children a quality faith-filled education. There are so many extra curricular activities that there is something for everyone. From athletics to a top-notch forensics team, there is a place for every child to be involved. The teachers are so dedicated that you really feel the children are getting the best. The PTO is so full of hard-working dedicated people that do so much for the school. My daughter is in first grade and my son will be starting in the next two years. I would not want them to be anywhere else. I would recommend this school to anyone.

The school is great! Their academics have been wonderful for all my children. In fact, my son received a full first year tuition scholarship to Notre Dame High School. My daughter has been selected to participate in the Midwest Talent Search, sponsored by Northwestern University. The school offers so much with the clubs and activities that children have fun learning!

I have a daughter that graduated from this school and a son who is about to graduate. Besides academics I have never known a school and its staff to be more caring and focus on the individual student so much. They are so devoted to their kids - and it goes beyond the actual hours in the classroom! What an Excellent teaching model!

St. Clare offers small classes, great academics and a surprising number of extracurricular activities for a small school. My kids, who are in the 2nd and 3rd grades, have already participated in chess club, young astronomers, gymnastics, Spanish and Scouts through the school. Being a Catholic school, St. Clare also emphasizes religion which really helps create a strong sense of community among students, faculty and parents.

I am an alumnus of St. Clare and now my children attend school there. St. Clare offers a strong curriculum along with a dedicated staff to see that each child receives the best possible educational experience. The enrichment programs are second to none. I also have a child in high school where she is excelling in honors programs and I know that her ecperience at St. Clare of Montefalco helped prepare her for this. I highly recommend St. Clare of Montefalco Catholic School.

I love St. Clare because of all the activities that are offered to the children. I also love how accessible the teachers and staff are to listen to parents and their students alike. The parents of St. Clare are also very nice and I feel like I can approach anyone when I have a question. The students are offered a wide variety of activities to choose from in order to make their school career exciting and fulfilling. I am thrilled to have my daughters at such an excellent school and know that they are being given every opportunity to become whatever they choose to be later in life.

This is a high quality, multi-faceted elementary school! The teachers, staff and administration work together with parents and children to provide academic excellence with a strong faith-based curriculum. The 'extras' at this Catholic School are unique and not found in other area parochial schools. (certifed RN, counselor, special needs support, an abundance of non-athletic extra curriculur activities and clubs, two children's choirs and a Campus minister, just to name a few.) An awesome school within a great community!

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
