Hart High School

As a 1980 graduate, I can proudly say that the quality of education and the quality of the educators was excellent. Those teachers gave their all to inspire students to be hard working, productive members of society. As a result, I have been a high school educator for twenty-seven years, have won numerous awards which has included Michigan's Health Educator of the year. I would not be who and what I am today if I had not gotten the education this school has provided to all students over the years.

Hart High School has terrific teachers who are passionate about their subject areas. During my time at Hart High, my teachers always pushed me to succeed. This school does a lot with very little. I'm proud to call myself a pirate!

The lack of adequate textbooks shows how little the school values a rigorous acedemic curriculum.

I love hart high. Although we are a little school... That just gives us students more one on one time with the teacher. I believe hart is a very well rounded school!

I go to HHs and i have gone to other schools too, and I've never seen a closer student body. the teachers are also great with the students, they have cool ways of teaching you really hard and boring materials.

Hart High School is the best in oceana county. The Band Director, John Taranko has been there for 15 or more years. In that time he has received 1 ratings at district and state festivals. Also in that time period he has only received two, 2 ratings.

As a student of Hart High School, I feel left out compared to the other students who are recieving a more fufilling education at other school districts. The teachers in this small community show a lack of leadership and 'scholarly' lesson plans. I feel unprepared for furthuring my eduaction after my high school experience.

The leadership at Hart High School is the worst I have ever encountered. The teachers do not care abut their students. I have worked with many students from HHS and the school does not seem to care about their success.

This school is a waste of time. I put my kids through this school and i was very disapointed with the poor quality education that they offer. they had good sports programs but i am more worried about my childs edcuation and maybe the teachers at that school should think about that also instead of merely thinking about their paychecks.

As a recent graduate I can say the education in hart is unsatisfactory. I slept my way through school and did very well. It did not prepare me for college and the leadership in the school is aweful. Overall the only good thing about the school is the coaches especially in basketball and football were very great romodels.
