I couldn't be happier with the teaching staff at this school. I have one in third and one in kindergarten and they both are doing very well. I like that my children always get treated fairly and that they not only learn academics but also learn how to be responsible and respectful of others. O.K. so they can't dress up for halloween but they do celebrate with other activities and they do this for every holiday. The school is in great shape and has ample parking unlike other elementary schools in the district.

I appreciate the professionalism of Star School. The staff is very dedicated, knowledgable and welcoming. Star School's state test scores are always impressive at at the top of the district. This indicates to me that they work as a team and are current with standards. I appreciate the dedication of the entire staff including the principal and support staff.

I have a third grader at Star school. I try to be involved with school activities but am not always able to because of my own school. I am happy with the education that my child is getting. I am not happy with the PTO. I have atteneded several of them throughout the past few years and I always feel the same. I feel like because I can not always be there that I am not welcomed there. I also feel that because I am a young parent they try to intimiate me and my opinion is not valued.

My children love this school, the staff, and all the activities. I am very happy that they go to this school and would NEVER consider any other school for them.

I enjoy the safety of the school and I think the staff is competent, however I would like to have had my child be able to celebrate halloween with wearing a costumer, such as christmas, etc....she felt left out because her other friends and family go to other schools that let them and she felt 'weird' she said. Other than this I have nothing wrong with this school, but I feel I may request another school in the district so that she can celebrate such holidays. I get the religion thing, but some of it has nothing to do with religion.
