The Henry Ford Academy is wonderful experince for my child. The Principal is innovative and creative. The staff could handle this discipline in their classrooms better, by having more patience and understanding. The school extends itself to parents and the community.

The academic programs are great most of us are learning alot. The teachers really belive in us and try as hard as they can to motivate us to learn but sometimes that is not always possible. we don't have a wide varity of extracurricular activities and the parent involvement is not very high as far as I have seen. Sometimes the technique that the staff use as decipline is not always right. They can handle some situations a little differently for example on Thursday my friend got suspended for breaking up a fight between her brother and another boy. If we brake up a fight I didn't know that we'd have to face consequences. Ford could be better in some cases.
