I have two children in Patterson and they both love it. My only concern with the school is my children get picked up from school and anyone can pick them up! They just walk right outside the school and anyone could take them! I think they need to come up with a better plan for the kids who get picked up everyday.

We just moved to this area and go to Patterson. It is a wonderful school with great staff. At first I was a little nervous about the Holly district, but I was wrong! My son is in Kindergarten and just loves his teacher, She is outstanding..and he has learned so much. Dont think twice about Patterson, its a great, great, great school...just go!

I've have two of my children at Patterson and all the teachers are wondeful. They have state of the art technology, classrooms, plus a brand new IMC is being built right now.

I was very unhappy with Patterson Elementary School. My child had problems with kids bullying him on the playground and getting off of the bus and when we spoke to the teacher and the principal they stated they would keep an eye on the situation but nothing was done and nothing changed. Unfortunately, it was my experience that they do not discipline kids that are extremely rough and they just let it go with the premise, 'kids will be kids.' I ultimately changed schools and what a difference that made! My child is happy and learning in a safe environment and that makes all the difference in the world!

Great improvements on the buildings. Teachers seem to care about improving the education throughout the district. Great plans for improved technologies and activities with in the schools.

Holly Patterson Elementary has become an outstanding school. The principal, Mrs. Greenwood, is a fantastic leader. She is fair and caring while at the same time she runs a very tight ship. The teaching staff is very competent and is a pleasure to work with.

The school is laid out nicely. Most of the teachers are wonderful. Severe discipline problem with bullying not being addressed. Terrible leadership with a principle who doesn't put the kids first.

This is our first year in this school. I like the changes the school made-remodeling, safety has improved. But the school needs discipline (in the classrooms). Very dissappointed with the academics. It feels like it's oriented around average and below average achievements. Not enough challenge. Art, Music, Technology are great. Parent involvement is welcomed and appreciated.
